Get ready to rock and roll, soldier. There's work to be done.
The goodly folks over at blackfriday.info have just handily released the complete sales breakdown for Best Buy, Circuit City, and Target's Black Friday sales, and it looks like the projected casualty rates just went up. Here is but a sample;
Best Buy is jumping on the HDTV Under $1000 bandwagon with an HP 42" 1080p LCD television. They've also put massive discounts on cell phones; $50 for an LG Chocolate and an LG Rumor for the cost of FREE. Those almost certainly come with plans/activation fees of some kind... no info there yet.
Circuit City has even more to love. Our favorites: sales on HP Pavilion Laptops (a 15.4" display w/AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor is going for $550 when it should be over $700) and a Nikon 8.1MP Digital Camera with 3X Optical Zoom for $200, which is $30 less than you'll find even on Amazon. Plus, you'll get a FREE Wireless-G Router with any laptop purchase. Nice!
And you can get a SquareTrade warranty for ALL these things - hell, all electronics period - for 30-50% less than Best Buy or Circuit City will charge you. We'll even give you a 5-Day Service Guarantee and the option to get Accidental Damage Protection or extra years of coverage. Try asking the blueshirts at the counter for that and see how hard they laugh.
Oh, and Santa's Little Helper tells me there might just be a new SquareTrade coupon available right around Black Friday, too.
Remember: mercy is for the weak. No Prisoners!
