We love saving you money. In fact, we're kind of obsessed with being the best deal around. And when we're not busy saving you a bunch of cash on your warranty purchases, we're checking out other possibilities. We know SquareTrade.com is not the only place to go when you're looking to pinch pennies, so here are some other good ones to visit:
Save on gas.
GasBuddy.com - Scope out the cheapest gas in your area with just a few clicks. It lists the ten cheapest and the ten most expensive gas stations in your city, along with historical pricing information. Plus, there's cool graphs and charts, a "gas price temperature map" that shows prices around the U.S., and best of all, a trip fuel cost calculator. Thanks to AAA, another trip fuel cost calculator can be found at: www.fuelcostcalculator.com
Save on travel.
It's no secret that there are a ton of fare-watching and fare-finding websites out there. Some of the best are the ones that search multiple travel sites and report back the cheapest prices from a bunch of different places -- Kayak.com and Airfarewatchdog.com are good examples.
Those are both great, but I have to gush that my Wednesday Travelzoo Top 20 emails are the highlight of my life. Or at least the highlight of my personal email inbox. Get the 20 best travel deals from all over the web emailed to you once a week. This week, for example, you can crash in a hotel right on the Vegas strip for $28 a night! No joke.
Get free stuff. No, I'm serious. It's really free.
Go to heyitsfree.net and snap up some really good freebies. Most of the things on the site are COMPLETELY free, meaning you don't have to pay for shipping or anything. There are a lot of printable coupons that you have to redeem, but some of the offers are for free samples that you can request online and have sent directly to you. Coolest items of today: How about some free Orville Redenbacher Smart Cakes or a free eco bag from Sun Microsystems?
