I saw all my friends tweeting #SquareTrade. So, who is SquareTrade?
Let's start by saying that warranties suck.

Why are we doing this giveaway?
Our 10th Birthday is a celebration of our customer's belief in SquareTrade's mission to change the way people buy warranties - and we're glad to make you part of that celebration!
To date, we’ve sold over 1 Million Warranties and – thanks to you – SquareTrade is the largest independent warranty provider and the only warranty consistently rated 5 out of 5 stars by consumers! So, we thought this would be a fun way to say thanks and to celebrate with our (current and future) fans!
I'm not a SquareTrade customer...does this effect my chances of winning?
Nope. We've kept this giveaway open to everyone. Absolutely no purchase necesarry - setting up a Twitter account is also free.
SquareTrade doesn't believe anyone should ever feel pressured to buy a warranty. (One of the many ways we're not like any of those traditional warranties.)
So, are there any limitations on who can enter?
The contest is open to residents of the U.S. who are, as of the date of their entry, 18 years of age or older.
Do I have to be a U.S. resident to enter?
Yes. (See above.) Prizes will be shipped to U.S. address only.
What are you giving away? An actual Kindle or a gift certificate?
We're giving away one (1) Kindle a day, every day for ten (10) days starting October 12th.
Each selected winner will be shipped a Kindle 2 right to their door. We'll, of course, include a SquareTrade 3 year Kindle Care Plan with Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH) coverage to protect your prize from drops and spills!
In addition to our Kindle giveaway on Twitter, we're also awarding a $1000 Amazon gift certificate to the most creative entry! This can be used to purchase any Amazon good/service(s) the winner chooses.
How can I enter this giveaway? I would love to win a Kindle!
First, you must have a Twitter account to participate. A Twitter account is free - if you don't have one yet, go to www.twitter.com to sign up for one and log in.

In order to enter yourself in our daily giveaway, you must send out a public tweet with #squaretrade included somewhere within your 140 characters. The remaining 140 characters are up to you. (Please keep it clean - no profanity or abusive language. This is meant to be good, clean fun!)
Please note: you only need to send out this tweet ONCE each day to enter but you can tweet #squaretrade as often as you'd like - just don't spam your friends! Automated entries or such suspicious activity will be disqualified.

If I include @Squaretrade in my tweet, is that considered an entry?
Nope, that’s not necessary. You can feel free to include @squaretrade as well, but you must also have a #squaretrade included somewhere in your tweet in order to officially be considered an entry.
Do I need to say anything specifically in my Tweet? Do I have to retweet anything?
Nope. No need to retweet either. (If you want to be an awesome friend and clue in others about the giveaway – point your friends here: http://www.squaretrade.com/giveaway) .
In order to enter our daily Kindle Giveaway, all you need is to include #squaretrade in your tweet.
It's that simple. We encourage you to have fun. Plus, we have a separate award for most creative entry!
How many times can I enter?
You only need to send out ONE tweet with #squaretrade to enter yourself in the giveaway that day but you can enter every day, as many times as you'd like - just don't spam your friends!
Will entering multiple times help my chances of winning?
Sure, but remember, use of bots or automated entries will automatically be disqualified.
Chances are, your friends won't want to read you posting 10 consecutive tweets with the exact same message.
However, if you’re feeling creative or inspired, we won’t stop you from entering multiple times!
In fact, we’re selecting the most creative response to win the most Creative Entry Award: a $1000 Amazon gift certificate.
What if I don't have a public Twitter account? Can I still enter the giveaway?
Setting up a Twitter account is simple and free!
As for setting it to private versus protected - we’ll need to see your tweet for it to be considered a valid entry. Unfortunately, if you have a protected account, we will not be able to see your tweet in the Twitter stream. You must choose to make your account unprotected if you would like to be eligible for the Kindle Giveaway.Note: Facebookers are also invited to join us on our Fanpage for a chance to win $1000.
What time do you choose your winners each day?
2pm PDT each day, we'll randomly select a winner from among all eligible entries that period. We'll announce the winner via out twitter account at http://www.twitter.com/SquareTrade shortly thereafter.
Be sure to follow @SquareTrade to find out if you've won. In order to claim your prize, you'll have to be following us so we can send you a Direct Message with instructions.
What if I enter after 2pm PDT?
Any eligible tweets sent after 2pm PDT with “#squaretrade” included will be counted toward the following day's entries, until end of contest 2pm PDT, October 21st.
So for example, an entry at 2:01pm PDT on October 12th counts as a valid entry for our second drawing on October 13th.
How are you selecting winners? Will you verify their eligibility?
For the Kindle, winning is left to chance. Each day at 2pm PDT, a winner will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries within that entry period.
We’ll announce the winner shortly after selection on our twitter account. Potential winners will be confirmed by direct twitter message and must meet all eligibility requirements set out in our official rules, including the timely execution and return of all necessary releases and documents.
What about the $1000 for Most Creative Entry – how will you select that winner?
It's not going to be easy. In fact, we'd pull all our hair out trying to decide on our own so we'll need your help. We'll pick the best of the bunch then let you put the final decision to a vote!
Yup, towards the end of the Giveaway, we'll open the polls on our blog - so, get creative and get the word out!
Where are you announcing the winners each day?
We will tweet out the winner from our official @squaretrade twitter account shortly after the daily drawing at 2pm PDT. We'll also feature a Winner List on the Official Contest Page: http://www.squaretrade.com/Giveaway
Do I have to follow @squaretrade in order to win?
Yes!
A potential winner will receive a Direct Message with instructions to claim their prize. So, in order to claim your prize, you must be following @SquareTrade!
Anyone can tweet #SquareTrade to enter but only @SquareTrade followers can win.
Note: potential winner must reply to @SquareTrade by Direct Message within twenty-four (24) hours of Winner notification. If any winner notification remains unanswered for more than twenty-four (24) hours, the prize will be forfeited.

Yes! We’re giving away one Kindle each day, every day of the week – October 12th through October 21st.
Is there any secret that will it increase my chance of winning?
Our lawyers advised we should answer no. That is, it’s not a secret: we’ll be selecting the winner of the $1000 Amazon Gift Certificate from the most creative #squaretrade entries from facebook and twitter. So, the more creative you are, the better chance you have of winning the Creative Entry Award of $1000 Amazon Gift Certificate.
