The school year is quickly coming to an end for students at SquareTrade’s sponsor school, Carver Elementary. To celebrate the great weather and summer vacation, the school hosted its annual Field Day with SquareTrade volunteers ready to help (read: have fun)!
A cross-departmental group of volunteers helped at a variety of stations including an obstacle course:
Cassidy, Lyndsay and Tiffany, CXO, enjoyed demonstrating the obstacle course requirements to students.
Target practice:
The kids enjoyed trying to make their shots through the hoops.
Lawn bowling:
Paloma, CXO, and Pace, Marketing, help reposition balls and pins at the lawn bowling station
and everyone’s childhood favorite, the parachute!
SquareTrade got to practice with the parachute before the students came outside.
Here at SquareTrade we believe in “Making an Impact” and get a day of PTO every year to do just that by volunteering in our community. Employees are able to use this day to volunteer on their own or as a group, like we did at Carver Elementary.
Thanks to all of the SquareTrade volunteers that helped make this day a success and for the staff at Carver Elementary for hosting us. We had a blast!
